Every birth leaves an echo-
in your body,
your heart,
and your story.
Let’s make it a powerful one.
Welcome MumMa

Walk With Me Through Birth & Beyond
When you invite me to walk alongside you as your doula, you’re not just hiring a support person. You’re choosing to be held, seen, and truly cared for during one of the most tender and powerful seasons of your life.

Pregnancy, birth, and the early days of motherhood can be full of wonder. They can also bring uncertainty, vulnerability, and questions that don’t always have clear answers.

You’re not meant to figure it all out alone.

I’m here to hold space for it all;
the beauty,
the intensity,
and the quiet in-between moments with a calm, steady presence.
Together, we create an environment where you feel grounded and informed, while still deeply connected to your own instincts and inner knowing.

You will never be rushed, dismissed, or told what to do.
This is your story.
I’m simply here to walk beside you as it unfolds.

Meet Abbi
I grew up in a big family where babies were always arriving, so birth never felt like a mystery to me. It felt like life.
Then, at 20, it became my life. I gave birth to my son Harrison in a UK hospital, and in the final moments a midwife reached for scissors to perform an episiotomy I didn't need. His head was born with the very next contraction. Afterwards she told me, "You're the only person today who did it the natural way." I didn't have the words for it then, but I understood something that has shaped everything since: what happens in a birth room depends so much on who is in it, and whether anyone is truly listening to the woman at the centre of it.

Two more births taught me the rest. One where I laughed and floated in a birth pool and pushed for five minutes. One where a midwife looked at me and said, "I don't think you're in labour," and thirty minutes later my baby was in my arms. Three births, three completely different stories, and one truth running through them all: a woman who feels heard and supported can meet whatever her birth brings.
My Nan was like a second mum to me, and she holds a chunk of my heart to this day. She talked about birth the way most people talk about the weather: simply, and without fear. When I was younger we'd watch Call the Midwife together, and she'd shake her head at all the drama on screen and tell me she didn't know what all the noise was about. You just did what your body needed and birthed your baby. She was born on 13/3/1933 and raised three children. I have three children. So when she passed away and left me a gift, I knew exactly what it was for, and when I trained as a doula, the name was already waiting: 3 Echoes, for the three corners of a triangle. Mum. Baby. And the world you're bringing them into. The triangle is the most stable shape there is. That's what I build around every woman I support. And if you look closely at my logo, the E in Echoes is my Nan's actual handwriting. Her hand is in this work, the way it always was in mine.

I can't promise you a particular kind of birth. Nobody honestly can. What I can promise is that you will never do it alone, never be rushed, and never be dismissed. I'll be beside you the entire time, helping you meet your birth with steadiness, whatever shape it takes.

A Different Kind of Support
My role is not to take over or direct your experience. It’s to:

-
sit with you in the unknown
-
support your choices without judgment
-
help you feel safe in your body
-
and remind you, when you need it most, that you are capable

I bring a body-aware, emotionally attuned approach to birth - blending practical support with deep presence, so you feel both prepared and held.

This is more than a service. It’s a relationship built on trust, warmth, and connection. If you’re feeling called to this kind of support, the next step is simply to reach out.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. We can start with a conversation and explore what feels right for you.
